Yoga Classes
Why take a yoga class? A decent question when there are so many books, videos & DVDs around…!
Yoga can & should be practised alone as only then can we gain a deeper understanding of our body & mind. However practise in a group creates a wonderful and powerful energy – prana – that is often hard to experience alone but that can subsequently assist you in your personal practise. You start to feel an essence of what yoga is all about – the union of the individual body, mind and soul but also the union of the universal body, mind and soul. You get in touch with the collective energy that is this universe.
Pure yoga practise is feeling, sensing and internalising this universal energy.
A class guided by a teacher also motivates you to practise and helps you in your personal practise by removing bad habits and improving on all levels. We are all students in this universe and should always be open to learning individually and as a group….
